  1. I am much more drawn to the color. I think it enhances the seperation of the captured moments/angles. However, depending on the effect you are going for, the black and white gives a much more anstract feeling.

  2. I enjoy the one in color a lot more. The one in black and white is a little distracting. I think the reason is because the values are just stark contrast whereas in the color group they are more blended. The color one is easier on the eyes and more interesting to spend time with.

  3. hmmmm, I love the b+w for some reason. Shadows are a bit intense, maybe soften them up a bit. Can't wait to see the real thing!

  5. Ok, so I was just about to vote for B&W when it hit me - what if you used both in the same image, by doing some of your rectangular components in B&W and some in color? This would give the viewer two different ways of seeing (fits with yoru concept) and I think the contrast/ juxtaposition would be really interesting. Maybe you could also play with levels of saturation? and/or try hand-coloring some of the transition areas? (Just a thought.) Of course, it might also end up being too distracting - but maybe it's worth considering...

    Good luck!

  6. Christine: Is the color one TOO easy for you to understand? Do you look at it and pass it by; glance at it and understand? Does that mean that the black and white one illicits more questions?

  7. I quite enjoy the black and white one. To me it's more interesting and catches my eye. The color is just kind of bland for me, but I've always enjoyed black and white, I feel like black and white is hiding a secret. The color is just a person in many different verses but the black and white, in my mind at least, is telling a story more than the color. Then again, my thinking may just be odd.
